Tell us about your business, when was it formed and what do you do?

Hydroware was founded in 1998 in Alvesta, Sweden, and established its UK presence in 2013. We specialise in drive and control systems for our HydroElite and TractionElite product range. Our focus is on supporting service and installation companies with reliable technology, and industry-leading delivery times. Every system is fully tested before leaving our Swedish factory.

Who are your customers? Which markets do you serve?

Our customers are mainly service and installation companies looking for dependable modernisation or complete lift solutions. Our systems are built for long-term performance, with sustainability at the core.

We are present globally, but our market is mostly in Europe, including the UK, Nordics, Benelux and the DACH region. In the UK, we offer nationwide field support through locally based personnel, ensuring quick and reliable assistance wherever it’s needed.

How many times have you been to LIFTEX?

This will be our fourth time exhibiting at LIFTEX. The event is a great opportunity to connect with the UK lift industry, showcase new innovations, and explore the future of modernisation and sustainability in the sector.

What are the main issues that your customers deal with and how do you help them?

Our customers are looking for dependable solutions, reduced downtime and good support. We offer proven systems designed for modernisation, combined with technical expertise and quick delivery. The high reliability of our products makes project planning smoother and helps avoid costly delays on site.

Are there any issues that specifiers, contractors / owners should be aware of in the next 12 months?

The current political and economic climate brings uncertainty, and its full impact is difficult to predict. In this environment, choosing reliable suppliers who can deliver consistently and provide solid support becomes more important than ever.

How can we, as an industry, help designers and building owners to become more energy efficient and meet Net Zero targets?

We have long encouraged a sustainable mindset where modernisation is preferred over full replacement. Many overlook that the main environmental impact comes from manufacturing rather than daily operation. Full replacements waste valuable materials. By modernising only what’s needed, like drive and control systems, we reduce carbon emissions dramatically and extend the life of the lift.

What will you be promoting / what can visitors expect to see on your stand?

TractionElite H2 and HydroCloud!

You’ll experience our complete H2 product portfolio – including both HydroElite H2 and TractionElite H2. TractionElite H2 is the ideal modernisation solution for your traction lift project. Whether the lift has a machine room or not, we offer versions that can modernise virtually all common lift systems.

We’ll also be demonstrating HydroCloud, our digital portal that enhances service for lift owners through remote monitoring and smarter maintenance.

What advice would you give to anyone visiting the show? What should they look for and how can they get the most from their visit?

Plan your visit ahead of time. The days pass quickly once you get into interesting conversations. Focus on companies that deliver innovation, reliability and long-term value. Be sure to visit Hydroware to see how our solutions can make lift modernisation smarter and more sustainable.
