Tell us about your business, when was it formed and what do you do?

Vega specialises in the manufacture of electrical and mechanical components for the lift industry. Founded in 2004 Vega’s leitmotiv has always been focused on design, innovation and style.

Who are your customers? Which markets do you serve?

Vega stands for world-renowned Italian excellence in accessories for lifts. Vega’s main market is in Italy, but VEGA operate world-wide with a production plant in Brazil and offices in New-York and London.

How many times have you been to LIFTEX?

This edition will be Vega’s fifth participation. (2013-2016-2019-2022-2025).

What are the main issues that your customers deal with and how do you help them?

Most of our customers are lift companies involved in the process of modernisation and refurbishment of some old lift installation. Sometimes those companies (Major ones or small ones) need a complete electronic package, sometimes they need to change the door operator or some push buttons only. The Vega solutions can be offered and adapted. Versatility is our key word. Vega have been chosen by major multinational lift companies to carry out important modernisation projects

Are there any issues that specifiers, contractors / owners should be aware of in the next 12 months?

The UK elevator and escalator market by new installations accounted for more than 8,000 units in 2023 and is expected to reach 9,200 units by 2029. The aging building need for maintenance, modernisation and cybersecurity, as well as increasing investment, are long-term demand drivers for the U.K. elevator and escalator market. Also, the residential construction sector’s growth and increased deployment of elevators and escalators in buildings are expected to impact market growth positivly.

How can we, as an industry, help designers and building owners to become more energy efficient and meet Net Zero targets?

In Vega we are constantly developing new products (e.g. displays or pushbuttons) with low consumption of energy and more stability. As far as packaging is concerned, we also set out a target to make all plastic packaging reusable, recycled, or sold in a cost-effectively way.

What will you be promoting / what can visitors expect to see on your stand?

SLIM LINE. STOCK&GO. COMPLETE ELECTRONIC PACKAGE OFF-THE-SHELF.

What advice would you give to anyone visiting the show? What should they look for and how can they get the most from their visit?

We invite all visitors and our customers to stop by the stand to look at the suggested novelties but above all to illustrate any type of need in terms of modernisations or new systems in order to find solutions studied also for specific requests. By contacting us, there is the possibility of meeting even before the fair, Vega is in fact permanently present in London with its commercial and technical team.
