Tell us about your business, when was it formed and what do you do?

Dewhurst Group Plc, established in 1919, is a family-run British manufacturer specialising in high-quality components for the lift, keypad, and rail industries. With over a century of experience, we have developed a diverse product range that includes pushbuttons, displays, fixtures, and control equipment. Our commitment to innovation and quality has positioned us as a leading independent supplier in these sectors.

Who are your customers? Which markets do you serve?

We consider everyone who uses a lift as our customer!

Our biggest direct UK customers are our distribution partners such as A&A and PEW who hold stock of our products and help service customers with product demands on a next day basis. We also directly serve the UK’s lift installation companies and major global OEMs.

How many times have you been to LIFTEX?

We are regular exhibitors at LIFTEX. We enjoy the opportunity to showcase our latest products and services and network with our customers and other suppliers in the industry

What are the main issues that your customers deal with and how do you help them?

Our customers need quality lift signalisation in all their modernisation and new installation projects. We support them by supplying a wide range quality signalisation products that meet and often exceed customer requirements in a cost-effective manner.

Are there any issues that specifiers, contractors / owners should be aware of in the next 12 months?

No issues, only exciting new product developments to meet existing and upcoming customer and code driven requirements.

How can we, as an industry, help designers and building owners to become more energy efficient and meet Net Zero targets?

At Dewhurst, Sustainability is a key target. We consider our product to be sustainable because of the long design life of all of our products.

Promoting the use of locally manufactured products within the industry is also important. It is well known that components in electronic devices such as your phone can travel many many 10s and 100s of thousands of miles. By manufacturing and assembling in the UK we significantly reduce the carbon footprint of our product

What will you be promoting / what can visitors expect to see on your stand?

We will be promoting a wide range of new products and advancements in lift signalisation technology. This includes our M100 and US95 touchless pushbutton to our Atom multimedia display.

We will also have some fantastic looking car operating panel and landing panel assemblies for visitors to see.

In case you cant tell!

What advice would you give to anyone visiting the show? What should they look for and how can they get the most from their visit?

LIFTEX is where all industry professionals have the ideal opportunity to meet all key suppliers and stakeholders under one roof, so an exciting opportunity to network, to learn about all new industry innovations and to hopefully grow your opportunities.
