Tell us about your business, when was it formed and what do you do?
BRUGG Lifting offers a comprehensive range of lifting equipment, including wire ropes, textile slings, and special solutions for various applications in industry and construction.
I am responsible for all Key Accounts worldwide. I am your partner in finding the right solutions to make your lifting projects smarter and safer.
Who are your customers? Which markets do you serve?
We support the big 4 worldwide.
How many times have you been to LIFTEX?
For me, it is the 3rd time with BRUGG Lifting at LIFTEX in London.
What are the main issues that your customers deal with and how do you help them?
We are not just a supplier, we are a partner for all our customers. Our goal is to encourage our customers to think bigger. As a cooperative partner, we help develop solutions that push the boundaries of what’s possible in the field of lifting technology. We bring a new perspective to lifting technology and open up a world of new possibilities.
Are there any issues that specifiers, contractors / owners should be aware of in the next 12 months?
Of course, we will focus more and more on training and support to empower our customers. We will not be just a product supplier; we focus on strengthen partnerships and sharing knowledge.
How can we, as an industry, help designers and building owners to become more energy efficient and meet Net Zero targets?
- Develop traction systems with lighter, high-strength materials to reduce energy demand.
Use recycled and recyclable materials in lift components to lower embodied carbon.
Provide high-efficiency gearless traction motors with lower energy losses.
What will you be promoting / what can visitors expect to see on your stand?
Visitors may see a changed BRUGG Lifting as in the past years. We will not be that invisible, boring industry company as we might be in the past. They will meet a fresh BRUGG Lifting with a strong brand.
What advice would you give to anyone visiting the show? What should they look for and how can they get the most from their visit?
Most people at LIFTEX want to see the big companies, but for me it is important to see as well the smaller, innovative companies. I made some really interesting contacts in the past years, while I visited some small and attractive companies.
