Tell us about your business, when was it formed and what do you do?

GLE was formed in 1999 as a part of the Imem group. GLE specialises in the supply of machinery directive products to companies around the world and is a company which is in constant growth since it was formed. Our products are the Rhino Lift, The Rhino Pro (GOODS LIFTS), The ImproLift and the ImproPlus (PLATFORM LIFTS).

Who are your customers? Which markets do you serve?

We supply 75-80% of our products to the UK market where demand continues to growth on an annual basis.

How many times have you been to LIFTEX?

GLE has attended every Liftex exhibition since the company was formed 26 years ago.

What are the main issues that your customers deal with and how do you help them?

The products that we supply to the UK market are incredibly reliable. However, companies find it more and more difficult to locate experienced installers so we do all we can to provide contacts to our customers of well-known installers of the products.

Are there any issues that specifiers, contractors / owners should be aware of in the next 12 months?

We hope to have great news in the next 6-12 months regarding new lift models!

How can we, as an industry, help designers and building owners to become more energy efficient and meet Net Zero targets?

More and more investment needs to be made in order to meet the targets which have been set. Without investment, these targets will be difficult to meet.

What will you be promoting / what can visitors expect to see on your stand?

GLE will be at Liftex this year sharing a stand with Imem Lifts. We will be more than happy to be able to show visitors our product range and explain how the products can be the best option to go for in all types of environments.

What advice would you give to anyone visiting the show? What should they look for and how can they get the most from their visit?

The show lasts for just two days so take advantage of the time available and visit as many stands as possible. The UK lift market is a continually growing market and technology continues to improve in all aspects. It should be a fantastic event to attend.
